Think you don’t have room for a water feature? Think again! At Good Earth Water Gardens, we design water features for areas of all shapes and sizes. Here are three of our favourite options for small spaces.

Spillway bowls

We love these versatile bowls and basins. One can be used as a standalone water feature, or we often link multiple bowls together for a multi-level water feature. This option scales up or down, depending on the space. This is an especially tranquil water feature that doesn’t overwhelm smaller environments.

Spillway bowls are a simple water feature that can have a big impact – even in a small space. This image is courtesy of our friends at Aquascape.

Bubbling rock features

These fountains are a perfect way to get running water into a tight space. Since they’re usually more vertical than horizontal, bubbling rock features can fit into even the smallest space. They’re a great way to invigorate a space with water and movement. Plus, the sound of running water enhances any environment.

You can’t beat the drama of a bubbling rock feature. These basalt columns are breathtaking.

Pondless waterfalls

When most people hear “waterfall,” they automatically think “big.” But you don’t need a huge space for a pondless waterfall. These self-contained units can be designed to fit just about anywhere. Pondless waterfalls give a sense of wilderness and escape, even if they only take up a few square feet.

This pondless waterfall shows that you don’t need a large space for a waterfall. This entire area is only about 8 feet by 10 feet!

At Good Earth Water Gardens, we want to help you find the water feature that’s right for you. That’s why we work so closely with our clients. We learn all about their yards, how they use the space, and what paradise might look like right outside their doors.

We’re happy to answer any questions you might have about water features and how you might use one in your yard. Give us a call today at 913-749-8090, or contact us online. We look forward to hearing from you!
