We love water and as human beings we’re naturally drawn to water. Why do so many people vacation to the ocean? Water features like ponds, fountains, and waterfalls can truly be life-changing. The visual beauty and the relaxing sounds of water can transform a space and how we experience it.
Good Earth Water Gardens brings outdoor living areas to life with water features. Our carefully designed, natural-looking water features help our clients – and their family and friends – make the most of their outdoor spaces.
The Good Earth Water Gardens Difference
Water features can bring such joy. But they can also cause headaches. We talk to many folks whose water features haven’t lived up to their promise. When landscapers with little or no training install poorly designed water features, it rarely has a happy ending.
At Good Earth Water Gardens, water features aren’t just an add-on. They are our passion. We have the training and know-how to create ponds, waterfalls, and fountains that are beautiful and long-lasting. Here’s how we’re different:
- Our owners Dan and Kevin are both Certified Aquascape Contractors. They have trained in the most effective design, installation, and maintenance techniques for water features.
- Ongoing education. Water-feature design and best practices are always evolving. We participate in several industry events each year, learning new skills and knowledge. We’ve also worked side-by-side with some of the most successful pond building companies in the country.
- Long-term partnerships. We don’t turn the water on and then disappear. We guarantee our work and offer maintenance services to ensure your water feature continues to work properly.
No outdoor element is more dynamic and inviting than water. Good Earth Water Gardens helps you determine the water feature that’s right for you. Then, we work with you to make it a reality.
Types of Water Features:
Creating a beautiful pond landscape is so much more than just digging a hole. It takes proper planning and all the right pieces to build a pond that will provide beauty and enjoyment for years to come.
At Good Earth Water Gardens, all of our ponds have both biological and mechanical filtration to keep the water clean. We use plants to keep algae in check and protect the fish. The fish also help control the algae. And then the rocks and gravel provide surface area for helpful bacteria to live. Each pond is its own little ecosystem.
Who says you need a pond to have a waterfall? With pondless waterfalls, the water goes into a basin that has a pump. We dig the basin and put in the liner. Then, we use Aquablox, which are like big plastic milk crates. They allow the basin to be 99% water but still support the rock and gravel on top.
Pondless systems are ideal for smaller spaces, or for folks who have no interest in fish. Maintenance on pondless systems is lower than for traditional ponds, too. You get the sounds and beauty of moving water without any added work.
Fountains are the ultimate accent. They make an entry, patio, or deck come alive with sound and movement. And, since they take up very little space, fountains can work just about anywhere.
With fountains, if you can dream it, Good Earth Water Gardens can do it. Sizes and configurations vary widely. One type that many of our clients enjoy is a stone that is drilled through. The water cascades down the stone into a basin. It’s a natural look that makes a statement.
No matter what water feature meets your needs, Good Earth Water Gardens handles your project from idea through finishing touches. We ensure beautiful landscaping and one feature that’s often an afterthought: lighting. Nightfall creates a new experience with water features. Water flickers and dances, and the right lighting makes it come alive for you and your guests.
Every water feature starts with a simple conversation. Contact us to make your dreams of a water feature a reality.
